Course Content Students use Revit Architecture 2012 to learn about building information modelling (BIM)and the tools for parametric building design and documentation. Students begin the three-day course by learning the fundamental features of Revit Architecture 2011, and then progressing through schematic design and construction documentation, before finishing with design visualisation. Students should be able to complete their first Revit Architecture project after completing this course. The course offers metric hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.
Entry Requirements Depends on experience and / or qualifications.

SBEM Non Domestic BER Assessor Training Course

Course Content SEAI's non domestic energy assessment procedure(NEAP) is used to generate BER certificates and advisory reports for new and existing non domestic dwellings. NEAP allows the calculation to be carried out using approved software packages including the Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) which has been developed by BRE on behalf of the UK department of Communities and Local Government. SBEM accompanied by a user interface, iSBEM is used to produce consistent and reliable evaluations of energy use in non domestic buildings.

Course Content This hands-on course is broken into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session provides an introduction to the basics in on-screen plan take off.
