Funding
Skillnets networks are co-funded by Skillnets and member companies. Under the current Training Networks Programme (TNP) 2012/13, Skillnets provides up to 50% of the cost of all eligible network activities. Member companies contribute match funding in the form of membership fees and/or training course fees.
The following applies to funding:
- All match funding, including training course fees, is paid by member companies, not employees.
- Funding is not given directly to companies or individuals.
- Funding is made available through grants to approved networks enabling network member companies to avail of significant discounts on market training rates.
Skillnets issued a call for funding for new networks under the Training Networks Programme (TNP) earlier this year and the deadline for applications to establish new training networks has now passed (April 30th 2013). The applications are currently being assessed. Successful applicants will be funded from early June until the end of 2013.
The list of successful applicants will be published on the Skillnets website in due course.
You can also join one of our current networks at any time and if you would like to be notified when new funding is available you can also sign up for updates.
