Entry Requirements Trainees should have working knowledge of Refrigeration or air conditioning equipment and working towards Refrigeration Handling certification (City & Guilds 2079). Minimum 1 year experience

Otherwise trainees should complete Principles of RAC: FETAC Level 6 or Fundamentals of Refrigeration (Part Time)or similar.

- Leak checking methodology and record keeping
- F-Gas handling, storage and disposal
- Component leakage risks and prevention
- Montreal Protocol
- Hazards
