Delivers the knowledge of the process used to produce the main type of potable spirit consumed worldwide. The scope of the present syllabus in confined to spirits derived either from cereals, cane sugar cane sugar molasses and grapes. The generic descriptors "whiskey" "rum" and "brandy" are consequently restricted to beverages made from these respective raw materials
